Topology optimization based on the modified optimality criteria method for application to products

In this study, we apply density-based topology optimization using the modified optimality criteria (OC) method to a support yoke. The OC was developed by incorporating concept of Newton’s into method. Our proposed is less dependent on setting move-limit, so it employed in update equation for optimization.
